THE BARLIN-DANIELS EMERGING ARTISTS INITIATIVE
Elly recently founded The Barlin-Daniels Emerging Artists Initiative for The Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company in Toronto. The Initiative aims to support and engage young Jewish artists, amplifying the modern Jewish voice in Canada.
The initiative’s inaugural event Unravel: A Jewish Monologue Slam Competition aired in an online broadcast on May 19th. The event explored Jewish identity through the lens of 10 young artists across Canada, and featured special guests Rachel Dratch, Ari Weinberg, and Jamie Elman.
THE INHERITANCE
Elly was an investor on the Broadway production of The Inheritance, by Matthew Lopez. The play was recently nominated for several Tony Awards.
GREASE
Elly was an investor on the Toronto production of GREASE, directed and choreographed by Josh Prince (Beautiful, Shrek)
