
ELLY BARLIN-DANIELS
Elly Barlin-Daniels is a theatre producer; public relations professional; mentor; and accomplished writer with 40 years of experience in all facets of the communications industry.

Elly works with many of Toronto’s non-profit theatres as a producer, board member, and advisor. She is an investor in the Tony Award-winning Broadway production of The Inheritance, as well as numerous other Canadian theatre productions.
​
An expert in children’s music and media, Elly works closely with many prolific Canadian authors, musicians, and theatre artists, as well as organizations such as The Canadian Children’s Book Centre, CANSCAIP, and The Ontario Library Association. ​Elly is the producer of the new family musical Playground, based on the song catalogue of Juno Award-winning children’s musician Jack Grunsky. Playground had its debut production at the 2025 Toronto Fringe Festival, where it received the T.O. Live “Best of Fringe” award, a Toronto Star “Critic’s Pick,” and was named one of “four standout Fringe musicals” by the Globe and Mail.

Driven by a strong desire to serve and support her community, Elly is a philanthropist and advisor to non-profit organizations, supporting and producing events for the Michael J. Fox Foundation; the National Ballet of Canada; the Toronto Public Library; Mt. Sinai Hospital; the Royal Conservatory of Music; Koffler Centre for the Arts; Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care; The Harold Green Jewish Theatre Company; Eclipse Theatre Company; Crow’s Theatre; and many others.

In 2024, Elly was honoured by the ICRF with The Cherry Tabb & Herzig Eye Institute Women of Action Business​ Award.
